EPISODE #2: “CORRUPTION AT THE CHRISTIAN COALTION (PART 1)

In this second episode of ‘The Flim Flam Chronicles’, we shine the light of truth on the overt duplicity and hypocrisy of Ralph Reed and his time as the Executive Director of the Christian Coalition. Once in control of the Coalition, Ralph Reed began his quest to create a powerhouse in American grassroots politics out of an organization he likened to “the McDonalds of American politics”. However, as you will learn in this and future installments of the Flim Flam Chronicles, playing by the rules was not a part of Ralph Reed’s standard operating procedures. The innate ability or gift, as it were, of a great flim-flam artist is the ability to appear to play by the rules of the game but, in reality, be doing everything you can to covertly complete the ‘con’. Thus, it was with Ralph Reed at the Christian Coalition.

From day one, Ralph Reed ignored the rules of the game. According to the Internal Revenue Service, the Christian Coalition, which was registered with the IRS as a 501(c)(4), tax-exempt educational corporation, the Coalition, and listen carefully, “must be operated exclusively to promote social welfare.” However, Ralph Reed couldn’t have cared less about promoting social welfare. His laser-like focus was to do everything in his substantial and unchecked power to aid and promote the Republican party through whatever means he could wrangle. However, he was wily and unscrupulous enough to wrap everything in a well-disguised package of supposedly educating US voters. It was all a Trojan horse, craftily operated to exploit the resources of the Christian Coalition to aid the Republican Party.

In this first episode, supported by the irrefutable evidence and documentation found in my book, “The Trial of the Devil Incarnate- Ralph Reed: “God’s ‘Flim Flam’ Man”, we will forensically examine the actual operation of the Christian Coalition under the leadership of Ralph Reed. We will shed the light of truth on a long trail littered with illegalities, conspiracy, lies, cheating, misdirection, duplicity, and unmatched hypocrisy on the part of its leader, Ralph Reed.

David Wilcox retired medically from the Oceanside Police Department in his home town of Oceanside, California. He was one of the most highly-decorated officers in the history of the department and a multiple gold-medalist in swimming in the Police Olympics during his law enforcement career. In 1985, he swapped coasts, moving to Virginia Beach, Virginia, to attend graduate school at Regent University. While there, he was selected to work as an executive protection officer (aka bodyguard) for Pat Robertson, the Founder and President of the Christian Broadcasting Network.
